Time to Get it together

TOday I saw the movie Julie and Julia, and I really loved it.

It has got me thinking...why I am so slow in making a blog entry...and is anyone out there reading my blog...well why would they if I dont bother to update it.

There is such a worldwind of activity in my everyday life, but no more excuses, must pay the blog attention. Is anyone reading this let me know!

More New Things

More New things...

These are my pop up puppets. There are Aliens,Clowns,Wizards,Princesses,Queens and Dinosaurs.Great idea for a gift for a child. They really are magic!

My husbands Aunt came back from France with a couple, and she thought that it might be a great idea for me to do some...how right she was.Thank you Bev!

They are available for sale on my website http://www.creativelifeoptions.com.au/.

To see the full range, they are in Lumina Fibre Arts Gallery all of May.

Some new work. These are my woollen angels and fairies.

I have made many and soon they will be up on my website and etsy site for sale. No two are the same.

Hope that you enjoy them!

Well I have just had my first ever exhibition.Gallery Egde was the venue.

I was touched by all the wonderful friends and family who came along to support me.Here are some shots from the opening eveing.

We went for a drive at Easter to some of the Bushfire Areas of Buxton, Black Spur and Narbethong, it was uplifting to see the green new growth bursting out of the devastation. Please go and spend your money in these areas as the businesses are really struggling. A day trip is all it takes.

I had some great support with the Comfort Doll Kits in Alexandra.A place called The Co Op.It is a collective that represents rural crafters.Worth a look as there is some great things to purchase, and also to encourage people and help with their self esteem.

Comfort Doll Kit-Vic Bushfire Appeals

These are my fundraising kits for the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.

The idea is that you purchase a kit,for $30, that includes postage within Aust and NZ,and you make the doll for someone who has been affected by the fires, and return the doll to me with a special message.
I am then going to deliver them personaly to the women and children.
I hope that you will participate and in the process of making the comfort doll, you will have helped to heal yourself,as we all have been witness to and affected deeply.
Kit includes the doll form, and some other goodies-so you need to decorate,or dress, paint, dye, draw it in any way you choose.
Fill the doll with your kind, caring ,loving energy, and this way the person who does receive it will feel it in the doll.
Please support this cause....my website has the kits, and for anyone living near East Malvern in Melbourne, they are at Lumina Gallery Wattletree Rd.
Thanks for Caring and Sharing....lets thread the love a little further

I liked the freshness of the new look and the way that it is taking shape.I hope that we all can embrace the changes ,and more participants will join in and make it an even bigger and better show next Year

Yesterday I did created this beautiful woman using pastels.I went to a party that was a celebration of being a woman. When I first started it,it looked like a Babies face,it then emergerd into a Young Boy and then out burst this incredibly creative, and vibrant woman.
